5 benefits of walking each day

Hi guys, we are blessed to see another day and we thank the Lord for that. I am here to share with you another interesting topic. In fact, all the articles on this website are for educational purposes and so there is no dull moment. We talk more about lifestyle issues because here is a lesson base spot. If you are here, then you are going to be served with the best solution possible and thus, you are not going to regret being part of our audience. It is important we engage ourselves in reading because obtaining knowledge comes from reading and reading wide. Never stay or live your life without reading in a day unless you are really tight or busy and there is nothing you can do. Guess what, in my early days of blogging, I work with a friend in a common working space. Although we do not do the same job, we communicate a lot at any free given time. Hmm, I can say he is my closest friend now. And so, anytime we meet and we are discussing something, then he shows me something fascinating that he has read from his phone which is probably from a website. And he does that every single day. I never thought he is the type who likes to read but the thing is, you must read and read always. I then asked him to send me any article he will deem important or interesting so I can share it on my website. 

Guess what, almost every single day, this guy sends me a link to an article or a funny video link as early as in the morning. By the time I will set off from home and checked my WhatsApp messages he has already sent me a message. What do I mean? He is always reading and so he will always have great information with him. This is the habit I would like you to practice and do it often until you become a wizard in your sphere of interest. This is the most effective way I believe we can use to gather relevant information. This was just by the way. Let me quickly introduce you to my previous post regarding how to prevent cancer. In Africa, and especially Ghana, we have that funny belief that putting on wait means you are rich or in some level of comfort. We are happy to see someone put on weight. I don’t know if this scenario is realistic at your end too. Focus on not gaining any more weight if you think you have gained weight to avoid bringing you unforeseen complications. I also highlighted on smoking. Do not engage in excessive smoking. It is very detrimental to your system as humans. 

To stay healthy, avoid chewing tobacco also or snuffing it. it can result in cancer. The positive impact of technology on us is obvious. However, we sometimes abuse it against its positive impact. The use of a tanning bed which emits light rays on our skin should be avoided or not be used excessively. Despite its benefit, it can actually bring cancer to us. This also goes to exposing our bodies to excessive sunlight. It can result in skin cancer. The final and important thing I would like to share from that article is by engaging yourself in regular screening. This disease sometimes starts in a small way inflicting you with minor pains and if you refuse to pay keen attention to it then results in tougher complications. Let’s be mindful of these to avoid further complications.

Today’s topic is intriguing. It’s about the benefits of walking. Aside from those seized from walking due to some reason, most of us engage ourselves in moving from one place to another. So I am going to share with you some benefits we can derive as we walk.

First of all, walking helps you to build up stronger bones and improved balance

Walking and running is something that can help you build up strong bones. During the process, there is contraction and relaxation of the muscle and so consistent movement can help you develop stronger bones. It also puts your body in good shape. As you continuously twist your body here and there, you gain good body formation.

Enhance the management of disease

Walking has many benefits and one of them is that it also improves the management of conditions including hypertension (high blood pressure), catarrh or cold or flu, high cholesterol, stiffness and even diabetes. It helps out because walking alone is a form of exercise. However, for effective results, you may have to walk a little faster.

Reduce body fat

As I said earlier, walking is a form of exercise but ought to be done with some level of urgency to effective results. Yea it’s true that running is a bit problematic to some individuals. However, because walking is an exercise, you sweat during the process and as a result, you may tend to lose weight or reduce body fat. Do you want to lose weight?  Then engage in regular body exercise.

Walking can help increase cardiovascular fitness

Engaging in regular walking is a great way to improve and maintain good health. Just an hour or half of walking every day can improve your cardiovascular fitness as it boosts your immunity.

Finally, it keeps your body fresh

When you engage in daily and regular exercise such as walking, it keeps you fresh up the whole day. It also helps to burn calories to release the necessary energy needed by your body system to perform its work. And finally, put you in a good mood.
